PHILIP BLACK

​I design each puzzle box from scratch; from a blank sheet of paper. I start with a theme and then get excited to conceptualise the most intriguing and challenging puzzle mechanisms I can think of. I have a passion to aim for the impossible.

DESIGN ENGINEER

​​I work closely with the architect to turn their dreams into reality; to take conceptualised ideas and make it possible to actually produce them, in the real world. I have a real eye for detail; two actually, to be precise.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

​I'm the real craftsman here. I actually make the physical puzzles. I have a love/hate relationship with the 3D Printer as well as the saws and files and sandpaper and nuts & bolts that all go into making the beautiful finished puzzle box.  Fettle is my middle name.
